SKA CLUB
One of all the oral lores says that the tropical summer of 1966 was particularly hot, and therefore, it was impossible for the dancers to follow the unbraked rhythms of ska: The musicians of Kingston had to slow down the beat, creating the new rhythm rocksteady.
This very rocksteady, together with all the other rhythms typical of this origin, with touches of jazz and soul, will help to combate the heat of the mediterranean Auugust at the Ska Club and to dance in style.
ARTISTS: Prince Fatty with Winston Francis, Andy Smith, Masa + Ash, Earl Gateshead, The Tighten Up Crew, Natty Bo, Wassie One, Black Uo, Oldies But Rudies, Coco Girl, Scorching Dynamite Sound, Sukes of Skazzard meets Pirates Crew, Soulboys meets Rudeboys, Jahmaik, Lord Toaster, Natural Groove Brothers, Charlie Mondadientes, Los Primos Del Ska, La Gramola Tapiola, Vinaros Tropical Crew
